ASTITVA" - "A village to search your own self"
Have you ever thought , the end of existence of anything is Merger (Sangam)and not Separation. Why?
Have you ever thought that why everything which exists in this world is interdependent. Why The basic & fundamental nature of the whole space is Interdependency, anything that exists ,can not be there independently in this space. Why??
Have you ever thought in this space anything which has to exist has to acquire some form , either gaseous, semi solid, solid or Liquid of semi liquid.
Have you ever thought, that like matter which has properties ,there is anti-matter
which does not have properties.??
Think about it , whether all this gives you existence and gives basis to us mind to develop our ego , liking , disliking, ownership, separation, identity ,Maya, emotions, fear, pleasure etc. etc.
SO this is our Astitva or we believe it as our Astitva, which is not real ASTITVA.
So if we want to be in our real self, Astitva or want to connect strongly with our self then we should know how to connect strongly with our self, being or real Astitva.
The question is that how to search and get connected to "SELF" . Is it easy? yes!! it is very easy difficulty.
Our mind gets us engaged into those things which are outcome of the interaction ( RASLEELA) of above mentioned Guna . So if we really want to engage with our self without any noise then first we get disengaged from worldly things, feelings and false possessions . The moment we get disengaged from superficial engagements , we shall be able to connect with our SELF and ultimately thru that with the ultimate greater being i.e. Param atma.
And
In this direction I want to develop a small, serene and beautiful village " ASTITVA" for Professionals, Artists , Intellectuals, spiritual bent of minds and for all , in the lap of the nature, surrounded by hills close to a river just to de-link , disengage them from their own illusions
The model or concept of this village is as following-
We need to have 20 humble, thatched huts with a small veranda in front with A modern bathroom. It will have a cot and two muddhas and a small table .These huts will be independent and little away from each other. Flowers will be around this hut which will be watered by its habitant. A small pathway will connect each hut with others and to other important places. This would depict YOG.
This village will have a Yog Kendra , covered from top and open from all sides where 40 people could do yog and meditation. This center may be used as exhibition or conference center also, after yoga.
Another platform (Chaupal), an open ampi-theater , where people could discuss/ share and exchange their views , experiences , ideas, thoughts or concepts with others or even do Kirtan & Sandhya in evening (devotional group songs) in evening as mediation before sleeping.
We shall also have one Havan Kund ( place for Sacred fire and worship) otherwise it will be for all the people and for all the religions activities.
One library, an ambulance room with attached dispensary, staffed with qualified nurse(from nearby rural area) for first aid.
One airy, common kitchen with store where five six people can work , this kitchen will be attached with a simple dining space where 40 people could dine together. The cooking will be done by staff from nearby rural area only, but guests can also participate and support cooking. We shall be using earthen cutlery for serving and eating food ( Environment friendly and provides livelihood to rural area) For kitchen Groceries/Vegetables and other food items will be supplied by nearby villagers.
Some area for growing vegetables/flowers where participants can also work ( shram Daan) as well as a small place where villagers can sell handmade or forests products such as honey or various oils as souvenir to inhabitants.
The boundary will be of barbed wires so that wild animals keep away and place remains safe. We shall give the chance to sleep under open sky to those who want. In night we shall prefer lanterns with dim light bulbs to have mystical effect. we need underground wiring for speakers so that in morning we could play very light music( Dev Dhwani) or chanting of mantra, verses from QUran or bible or Guruvaani to wake up people.
Cleaning and other house keeping has to be done by inhabitant himself after morning walk every morning. In evening we shall be organizing silent walk with candle and thinking about yourself silently. At the end of the walk we shall write down one of the habits on a paper slip ,which we want to leave , First we shall announce about it and then burn it in presence of all others. We shall organise Bicycle Visits or visit on foot to nearby villages to provide necessary guidance to young students of the villages ,We shall provide support to nearby rural schools etc. Similalry, the day will start at 5 am , and inhabitants will go for morning walk, River bath, and Yoga. Once they come back , they have small havan and thereafter they go for simple breakfast. Post-breakfast there will be spiritual discussions and spiritual exercises, before lunch - all will meet and prepare simple lunch together and have it. Post lunch there will be rest or swadhyay for two hours, again 3 pm onwards charcha , old story telling,and discussions will start along with Sandhya mediation and worship/ Post worship dinner will be prepared by all which after Sarvadaharm Aarti and will be served/ Post dinner- Jyoti Yatara of the place will take place by all and after bhajan and music people will get dispersed . We shall keep few cows also for Gau sewa and some dogs for safety. SOmetime for hobby classes and some time for interaction with nearby villages,
During your whole stay strictly none will divulge his or her identity nor talk about the family or family matters, place of stay etc.
We need to have few MUV or SUVs which may be owned by nearby rural area with us on partnership basis. Similarly few Bicycles and mobikes for short visits or trips.
Those who come to stay here in this village may stay from one week to two weeks. Secondly, whoso ever comes here will have to come alone and keep his or her identity totally confidential.
AT the time of entry, such person will have to deposit everything including his or her mobile, name and clothes. Everybody will be issued villages dress and bear the name given by village.
ASTITVA would love to give a special experience to all by making every soul's every day special. So many things are there in the mind.
My wish is that all this should be free , however , it depends on guests if they enjoyed the different experience and want to support the village and people then they can donate the money to village as per their wish as Gupt Daan. Idea is that detachment should happen on its own , any kind of fee or charge brings in commercial feel and can spoil one's experience..
I had visited few lands near Rishikesh and spotted few places on internet too But to develop and execute such a project , one needs passion , resources and lot of courage, which can be generated if all such souls have inspiration and connect with each other.
Pl. do not hesitate to express if you feel the idea is too un-realistic or un-viable as I alone may not be able to see lot many dimensions involved in it.
I do not have money to buy such a big place in hills but if you come to know about such place in cheaper price or somebody wants to donate such land then pl. do let me know. In case some venture capitalist is willing to invest then we shall have to slightly modify the model and will have to make it chargeable.
